Egyptian Refereeing Team to Officiate USM Alger vs Olympic Safi in Confederation Cup Semi-Final

The Referees Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed an Egyptian refereeing team to officiate the eagerly awaited first-leg match between USM Alger and Olympic Safi, in the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup.
CAF has entrusted the officiating of this match to Egypt's Amine Omar as the centre referee, assisted by his compatriots Mahmoud Abou Errejal as first assistant and Ahmed Hossam Taha as second assistant, while Mohamed Maarouf will serve as the fourth official.
As for the video assistant refereeing (VAR), Mahmoud Achour was appointed as the video assistant referee, alongside Hossam Azab Hajjaj as assistant.
The first leg is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 in the Algerian capital, while the return leg will be held on Sunday, April 19 at the Al Massira Stadium in the city of Safi.
