Fouzi Lekjaa Motivates Atlas Cubs Ahead of the 2026 U17 AFCON in Morocco

Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, received the players of the Morocco national team under 17 during a motivational meeting held as part of preparations for the team's participation in the final phase of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) U17, the "AFCON Morocco 2026".
The reception took place in the presence of national technical director Fathi Jamal and the president of the National Professional Football League, Abdeslam Belkchour, who underlined the importance of this continental tournament being staged on Moroccan soil and the opportunity it represents to showcase the qualities of national football at the youth levels.
During the meeting, Lekjaa expressed his full support for the young squad's players, stressing the need to represent Moroccan football in the best possible light and to show a sense of responsibility and discipline both on and off the pitch, in order to achieve positive results that will delight the Moroccan public.
The Federation president also urged the players to make the most of the home advantage and the crowd, and to benefit from the ideal conditions provided by the Federation to ensure an outstanding campaign, stressing that the challenge is not limited to results alone, but also includes developing their performance and gaining experience at the continental level.
The Moroccan sporting community is counting on this young generation to continue the brilliance of national football, especially given the great attention the Federation pays to training and grassroots work, in order to prepare a new generation capable of carrying the torch in the future.
