Ittihad Tanger Denies Any Interest in Islam Slimani and Dismisses the Rumors

Ittihad Tanger football club categorically denied on Tuesday the reports that have circulated over the past few hours linking its name to the opening of negotiations with Algerian international Islam Slimani, stressing that these claims have no basis in reality.
In an official statement, the Strait club clarified that there is no contact whatsoever, neither direct nor indirect, with the player or his entourage, emphasizing that his name was not among the team's targets nor among the profiles studied by the technical management as part of the preparations for the upcoming season.
Ittihad Tanger's management affirmed that it operates according to a clear technical vision and a structured institutional approach, while rejecting any attempt to drag the club's name into inaccurate reports that could create confusion or affect the concentration of the team's various components.
