Atlas Lionesses Keep Climbing, Rise to 62nd in the FIFA World Ranking

FIFA unveiled its new world ranking for women's national teams on Tuesday, which featured a notable rise for Morocco's women's national team after it climbed four places at once.
The "Atlas Lionesses" now sit 62nd in the world, a clear sign of the steady progress women's football is making in Morocco, both in terms of performance and the results achieved on the international stage.
At the continental level, the Morocco national team ranks fourth in Africa, behind Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana, which continue to lead the women's football scene on the continent.
This progress reflects the positive momentum in national women's football, amid growing attention to infrastructure and development, which strengthens the Morocco national team's ambitions to achieve better results in upcoming continental and international competitions.
Morocco's women's national team had earned a clean 3-0 win over Tanzania, before drawing 1-1 in its second match against Mali.
