Mohamed Ouahbi Calls Up Amine Sbai to Bolster Atlas Lions Ahead of 2026 World Cup

National team coach Mohamed Ouahbi, manager of the senior side, has called up player Amine Sbai, a professional with French club Angers, to join the Atlas Lions' first preparatory camp.

The camp is scheduled to take place between 22 and 26 May 2026, as part of the preparations being carried out by the Morocco national team ahead of competing in the 2026 World Cup finals.

This preparatory phase represents an important opportunity for the technical staff to assess the fitness of a number of players and to give new faces the chance to showcase their abilities, with the aim of building a competitive squad capable of honouring Moroccan football at this global tournament.

It is worth noting that the 2026 World Cup finals will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, in a historic edition staged for the first time across three nations.
