Stuttgart Seal Bilal El Khannouss Transfer for 18 Million Euros

German club Stuttgart have officially completed the transfer of Morocco international Bilal El Khannouss, after triggering the mandatory purchase clause included in his loan contract from England's Leicester City.
The clause was triggered once all the conditions linked to the number of appearances and minutes played had been met, conditions that were not complicated, allowing the German side to secure the young midfielder permanently from next season onwards.
According to reports published by the German newspaper Bild, Stuttgart will pay the sum of 18 million euros, in addition to potential financial bonuses, with Leicester City retaining a percentage of any future transfer of the player. The loan deal had cost the German club around 3.5 million euros last summer.
For his part, El Khannouss signed a long-term contract running until the summer of 2030, with no release clause, a move that reflects the great confidence of Stuttgart's management in his technical abilities and his capacity to develop further in the coming years. His annual salary is also expected to reach 3 million euros including incentives.
This signing confirms Stuttgart's desire to invest in young talent, especially after the performances El Khannouss has delivered since joining the team, which have made him an important component of the club's attacking system.
