U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Draw Puts Morocco in a Tough Group

The draw for the final tournament of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), held this Wednesday, placed the Morocco national team in Group 1, alongside Egypt, Tunisia and Ethiopia, in a group described as strong given the presence of well-established footballing schools at youth level.
The "Atlas Lion Cubs" will therefore face an early challenge, particularly with the eagerly awaited Arab clashes against Egypt and Tunisia, two teams known for their fierce competitiveness in this age group, which points to a heated battle for the qualification tickets to the next round.
The rest of the draw results are as follows:
Group 2 features Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, while Group 3 brings together Mali, Angola, Tanzania and Mozambique. As for Group 4, it includes Senegal, South Africa, Algeria and Ghana, a group no less strong and exciting.
Moroccan fans are counting on this young generation to confirm the development of national football at youth level and to continue the positive results achieved in recent years at both continental and international level.
