Wydad Sets July 15 for General Assembly to Elect New Board

Wydad Athletic Club has announced, in an official statement, that it will hold a general assembly on July 15, 2026, following the meeting chaired by club president Hicham Ait Menna alongside members of the managing board and the club's members at the club's headquarters.
The statement confirmed that the upcoming general assembly will see the resignation of the current managing board, along with the election of a new board to lead the team during the next phase.
It was also decided to bring forward the opening date for candidacies to the club's presidency, which will run from May 25 to June 5, 2026, a move aimed at speeding up the pace of preparations for the electoral process.
In the same context, membership registration will remain open to those wishing to join the club until June 5, 2026, after having started on May 5.
Wydad's managing board stressed its full commitment to neutrality toward all lists and candidates, affirming its readiness to provide all the necessary information and data to ensure equal opportunity and the conduct of the electoral process in a transparent and fair atmosphere.
